Our Ministries
Women's Ministry
Women of the Church of God in Jamaica (W.C.G.): Serving with Heart and Purpose.
The Women of the Church of God in Jamaica stand as a beacon of love, faith, and service within our communities. Rooted in Christian values, these dedicated women embody compassion and care as they minister to the needs of others, in alignment with our Mission Statement — “to extend the Gospel of Jesus Christ, promote spiritual and personal growth, build friendship and interdependence, widen mental horizons, enlarge vision, encourage stewardship and support the united ministries of the Church of God through gifts of finance and leadership.”
Through a variety of outreach initiatives, they serve the elderly, support single mothers, mentor young women, and uplift vulnerable families. Their programs include Spiritual Life, Mentorship, Bible Quiz and H.E.L.P. (Help-Empathy-Love-Progress) project that empower women spiritually, emotionally, and economically. In times of crisis, they mobilize quickly bringing relief, comfort, and hope to those affected. Whether through acts of kindness or large-scale community projects, these women demonstrate the God’s mission in action: to serve with love and glorify God by touching lives.
Their tireless efforts continue to strengthen families, build communities, and reflect Christ’s love across Jamaica and beyond, in keeping with their Vision Statement: “To provide women’s ministry resources to the Church of God and beyond for connecting women through relationships, spiritual formation, and service.”
Children's Ministry
The National Children’s Ministry of the Church of God in Jamaica was established in 2023, and launched in 2024, born out of the reform agenda.
Since its inception, the Children’s ministry has called the nation’s children to prayer and is presently engaging them in a National Bible Challenge. This quiz will culminate in April at the National Children’s Convention where a champion team will be crowned.
Children are engaged in summer with Vacation Bible School and other activities throughout the year.
Children’s ministry became a feature of the Board of Evangelism and Missions’ Weekend missions in late 2024 and continued into 2025. Projections are for this to become a permanent fixture. At these missions, the children of the community that is engaged in evangelistic missions are also ministered to, especially on the Saturday, through child-friendly Bible activities and discussions. They also receive gifts from the Women of the Church of God (W.C.G.) H.E.L.P. (Help-Empathy-Love-Progress) project and are invited to make a commitment to following Jesus.
The National Children’s Ministry is poised to serve the children of our churches, and church communities, in new and exciting ways, seeking to build them in the Word of the Lord.

The NYE challenges and empowers youths across Jamaica to become disciples of Christ by engaging the NYF through evangelistic outreach, discipleship, and sound biblical teachings. The NYE ensures that the NYF has the necessary resources and adequate training to effectively lead the youths of the regions for qualitative and quantitative growth in Christ.
At the core of youth ministry is the commitment:

Some are working hard to overcome the post-Covid-19 impact on the number of registered students. Some of the needs are: human and financial resources, infrastructural and classroom facilities, for example, furniture and equipment. Please help the Basic Schools that are within your reach.

Courses Offered
We are a people uniquely called by God to be a catalyst for Christian unity, believing that the division of the body of Christ is hell’s greatest weapon to thwart heaven’s ends in this world. We are convinced that the splintering of the body is not the Lord’s work, but the enemy’s; we believe that hell trembles at the prospect of a people united, redeemed by the blood, and possessed by the Spirit (John 17:21).
We are a people of the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, supernaturally inspired, preserved across time, cultures, and continents, delivered to us, useful for reproof and instruction, for righteousness. The Scripture is our backstop, the ultimate field of inquiry and judgment, the measure of conduct, faith, and practice. Whatever the question, whatever the test, whatever comes before us, in the end, it is the Scripture, above all other disciplines, that informs and defines us. All other sources of knowledge fall beneath its shadow (2 Tim 3:14–17).
Love God with your whole self and love your neighbours as yourself. The Scripture tells us this is the sum of the Law and the Prophets. When a teacher of the Law sought to test Jesus (Luke 10), asking, “What must I do to have eternal life?” Jesus asked him what he read in the Scripture. When the man replied with the Great Commandments, Jesus approved, saying, “You have answered well; do this and you will live.” It was this exchange that birthed the seminal parable of the Good Samaritan. As a people in the pursuit of holiness, the Great Commandments clothe us.
The rule and reign of God is a present reality to be embraced and experienced today. His kingdom is not of this world and will therefore never be about earthly politics. As children of God, the spiritual riches of the King of kings are ours to claim and steward as we preach the good news of the kingdom to the world (Luke 17:20–21)
Though difficult for the human mind to fully comprehend, our one God expresses himself in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity serves a unique role to bring God glory and accomplish his purposes in the world (Gen 1:26; 2 Cor 13:14)

Business Ventures
Hope Business Place
The Hope Business Place stands as a testament to vision and progress, serving as the Corporate Office Building adjacent to the Olson Memorial Church of God. It proudly houses the Head Office of the Church of God in Jamaica while also providing a home for several thriving businesses.
This transformative initiative was led by the esteemed former Executive Chairman, Rev’d Adinhair Jones. The journey began with a groundbreaking ceremony on January 6, 2018. In a pivotal moment on Saturday, June 6, 2020, the prior office building was carefully demolished to create much-needed parking space for the modern new structure.
Today, the Hope Business Place continues to be a hub of faith, business, and community impact.
